The Expand M2 is a premium retractable banner stand that has a slim and elegant design. Retractable banner stands, sometimes called roll up banner stands, have a mechanism that rolls up the graphic into the base when it's not in use. The M2 features a new standard in retractable banner stands, the unique Modular Tension System, an innovative technology inspired by solutions found on racing yachts that eliminates the spring tension mechanisms found in all other retractable banner stands. This technology makes retracting the banner a breeze, The super-light media roll makes mounting the graphic simple without using tools. As you pull the graphic up, the display generates tension and once the graphic is retracted into the base, the rolled image does not have any tension.
Like all Expand displays, the M2 is manufactured from the highest quality materials and features Swedish quality and design and includes a lifetime warranty making it an excellent choice for heavy duty use. This stand features a telescopic pole so the height is variable from 63" to 88 5/8".
An optional spotlight with case is also available.

Economy Banner: Smooth Blockout Banner
Smooth blockout banner is a completely opaque vinyl with a low gloss finish and a slight fabric texture. It produces sharp, vivid images and is waterproof, tearproof, fade resistant and very durable. While considered a curl free material, it doesn't hang quite as flat as our more expensive options, but overall it's an excellent option at a great price.
Standard Banner: Curl Free Fire Retardant Banner
This banner has the beautiful upscale look of fabric, excellent color reproduction, a low glare finish and it is specially engineered to hang flat without curling at the edges, even with heavy ink coverage, but it's not completely opaque so strong light from behind can cast shadows. It's waterproof, tearproof, fade resistant and of all the banner options available, this one hangs the flattest. As it is fire retardant, with an NFPA 701 rating, it's excellent for display in public buildings such as museums, theaters, and other locations with strict fire codes. This is our most popular material.
Premium Banner: Trade Show Banner
Trade Show Banner is printed on an opaque polyester film and laminated with a polycarbonate laminate for a 12 mil thick finished banner. It is the ultimate in image quality, hangs very flat without curling at the edges, is the most scuff and scratch resistant product available, and has a classic low gloss polycarbonate textured finish that is the standard for tradeshow graphics. It's fade resistant, tear resistant, and waterproof. This product is also very environmentally friendly being printed with water based inks and containing no PVC.
Fabric Banner: Blockout Polyester
This heavy 100% polyester fabric is woven so tightly that it's completely opaque so light from behind can't cast shadows on the graphic. It's waterpoof, tearproof, fade resistant and offers sharp printing with brilliant colors. This material is printed with water-based latex inks for an extremely eco-friendly solution that hangs very flat and looks great.
